CHE* 214 - Principles of Organic Chemistry II Credit(s): 3 Prerequisite(s): CHE* 213 . Corequisite(s): CHE* 215 . This course proceeds from Organic Chemistry I and acquaints the student with organic compounds having key functional groups. Alcohols, organic halides, ethers, aldehydes, ketones, carboxylic acids, carboxylic acid derivatives, and amines are discussed. Stereochemistry and classic named reactions are presented. Lecture: 3 hours per week. Lab: 3 hours per week (CHE* 215).
