IDS 105 - College Success Course Credit(s): 3 Required of all new students in the General Studies and Liberal Arts Programs and recommended for all new students in the college. College Success courses focus on essential academic skills. Embedded in the course are critical reading and thinking, library research/information literacy, and other skills, such as note-taking, time management, goal setting, and career and educational planning. IDS 105 counts as a 3-credit free elective in the Liberal Arts and other programs. This course is required to be taken by all General Studies students. Transfer students with 12 credits and 2.7 G.P.A. are exempt from this requirement.
