BIO* 212 - Anatomy and Physiology II Credit(s): 4 Prerequisite(s): BIO* 211 or permission of the Department Chair. This course is a continuation of BIO* 211 . It provides a comprehensive study of the anatomy and physiology of the human body. Topics include body organization, homeostasis, cytology, and histology; as well as the integrative concepts of various systems, such as endocrine, cardiovascular, respiratory, digestive, urinary, reproductive systems; and inheritance and human development. Upon completion, students should be able to demonstrate an in-depth understanding of principles of anatomy and physiology and their interrelationships. Lecture: 3 hours per week. Lab: 3 hours per week.
